Our Clubhouse has numerous configurations and seating arrangements to accommodate an intimate social gathering, or a larger, energetic event. Have a very large party? With our heated tenting and flooring options, the sky is the limit on how many people you invite.

Your guests will gaze out at beautiful sun-kissed Narragansett Bay, overlooking our 18th green from The Clubhouse. Our culinary staff creates classic New England fare, along with new and innovative flavors for even the most sophisticated palettes. Music provided by any of the numerous bands and disc jockeys we work with provides the perfect atmosphere for whatever event you host at The Carnegie Abbey Club.

Before or after your event, treat your guests to the soothing touch of our masseuses in The Carnegie Spa. Treat your bridesmaids to a luxuriating day of manicures and pedicures while having our stylists create beautiful hair designs for your special day, or play 18 holes on one of Rhode Island's highest-ranked golf courses. Our convenient location to downtown Newport is the perfect backdrop to stay and play while you prepare for any event.

You and your guests won't have to worry about driving late at night after your event, or leaving early to make a plane flight. Carnegie Abbey take your cares away with our beautiful Clubhouse residences. On the second floor of our Clubhouse, guests will be able to enjoy overnight accommodations in secluded 1-, 2- and 3- bedroom condominiums, with all of the comforts of a Fifth Avenue luxury hotel provided by our concierge.

Our Venues

Our Clubhouse's classic New England architecture and Adirondack-style wood detailing is a fabulous backdrop for any event. Our full-service bar is conveniently located just outside our dining room, all surrounded by wooden porches that gaze onto Narragansett Bay and our 18th green. Smaller parties can enjoy a comfortable seating on one of the porches, while larger parties can be seated in the dining room. Or for even larger events, guests can use both the dining room and porch areas.

The Narragansett Dining Room

The Dining Room offers a formal, elegant appeal with its deep wooden accents and rich tones. With its proximity to the Great Hall and impressive wrap around bar, it is the perfect location for your event.

Porches & Patio

Our open aired Porches offer panoramic views of The Bay, with its screened in porch atop an elegant wood floor. The Porches may be combined for a larger, more spacious event.
