Equestrian at the Carnegie Abbey Club

Beauty in the ring or on the trails

The Carnegie Abbey Club's Equestrian Center, built in 2010, features stabling for 19 horses and ponies, a 100-by-220 outdoor ring of premier footing with show-quality jumps, and spectacular 80 x 200 indoor riding ring of premier footing allows for year round riding. Members board their own horses or ride one of the many Club horses on seven miles of picturesque trails that offer one of the best ways to experience the delights of the Club's beautiful and varied landscape.

Professional trainers are available for lessons offered to both adults and children, from beginners to advanced riders, in all disciplines. During the summer months the Club runs riding camps for our younger members, featuring stable management, horse care and riding instruction.
